Why Every Webflow Project Needs a CRM Dashboard

This means that tracking leads, customer details, or submitting forms can quickly become messy and manual. But what if you could create a simple CRM dashboard right inside Webflow that’s fully functional, automated, and ready to go in minutes?

I’ll show you exactly how to build a Webflow CRM dashboard using Webflow CMS, Zapier, and Airtable without the need for coding.

Set up the structure of your Webflow CMS

Start by creating a new CMS collection called “Leads” (or “Customers,” depending on your use case). Each item in your collection will represent a single entry in your CRM.

Here’s a simple structure you can use:

  • Name – The lead’s full name
  • Email – Contact information
  • Status – A drop-down box with options like “New”, “In Progress”, and “Closed”
  • Date Sent – Automatically generated
  • Notes – An optional field for internal comments

Once created, design the CMS collection page to display all the entries; this will become your dashboard view.

Automate Lead Generation with Webflow Forms + Zapier

Next, let’s connect your Webflow forms directly to your CRM.

When someone fills out a form on your website, you want that data to automatically appear in your Webflow CMSno copying and pasting required.

Here’s how:

  • Go to Zapier
    and create a new “Zap”.
  • Set the Webflow form submission as the trigger.
  • Select Webflow CMS: Create Item as an action.
  • Map the fields (Name, Email, Status, etc.) from your form to your CMS fields.
  • Now every new request appears immediately in your CRM dashboard.

You can also connect Zapier to Google Sheets or Airtable for an additional backup of your CRM data.

Design your Webflow CRM dashboard interface

Once your CMS is connected and automatically updated, it’s time to design your dashboard page.

Add a collection list to display your leads or customers.
Include:

  • Dynamic filters for lead status
  • Search bar (optional, using Jetboost.io)
  • Sortable fields, like date or name

Make sure the layout is simple, minimalist, and easy to scan think clean typography, colored statuses, and consistent spacing.

This dashboard will now automatically update every time a new form is submitted, creating a living, visual CRM inside Webflow.

Add analytics or status visualizations (optional)

If you want to go a step further, you can embed visual data directly into your dashboard.

Using a simple Chart.js integration, you can display:

  • Number of new leads per week
  • Conversion progress
  • Lead source breakdown

To do this, export your CMS data to Airtable or Google Sheets and visualize it using the built-in charts. This adds a professional touch that clients love.

Maintain and expand your CRM

As your business grows, you can scale your Webflow CRM by adding:

  • Team access via Memberstack or Webflow Memberships
  • Email notifications using Make or Zapier
  • Custom dashboards for different departments or customer segments

This setup can easily grow from basic lead tracking to a full-fledged customer management system built entirely within the Webflow ecosystem.

Webflow + Automation = Simple, Scalable CRM

You don’t need expensive software or complex coding to manage your customer relationships.
By combining Webflow CMS automation with tools like Zapier and Airtable, you can create a functional, self-updating CRM dashboard that saves you time and keeps everything in one place.
